The technical knowledge and experience of Elcis encoder in position-transducers, acquired since 1974, allows to produce an extremely wide and complete range of these devices, as to fulfill all present and future requirements in the industrial automation field.

Production

The encoder mass production profits by the innovating ideas, duly tested in the research laboratory, in order to mantain and increase the high qualitative level of the product (as per UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 Standards). High quality mechanic and electronic components undergo severe computer-aided selections through burn-in treatment, before and after assembly, in order to assure maximum reliability of the end product. Linear transducers are computer-aided tested and aligned in a suitable constant temperature standard room by means of a Hewlett Packard laser interferometer. Each linear transducer is equipped with its test sign-off and computer-aided graphic, showing evidency of the declared precision and values.

Research and development

The continuous research of higher and higher performances gave Elcis encoder the possibility to have in his catalog incremental encoders having output signal frequency higher than 1 Mhz. Elcis encoder philosophy towards his customers is not limited to supply a reliable standard encoder, but also to design, at no extra cost, customized units based on their specific requirements. Elcis encoder transducers, both rotating and linear, can be supplied in absolute and incremental version. On these encoders, Elcis encoder has patented many technologic solutions (among them, the "Microplan", special micrometric adjustment inside the encoder) which give the possibility to attain high qualitative levels, both in precision and reliability.
